Product Description
The air classifier mill is mainly suitable for fine milling materials into a fineness of 80-320 meshes. It is an air-classifying type with no screen. The production process is continuous, and the discharged particle size is adjustable.
Working Principle
The Feed material is mechanically conveyed into the mill along with the process air, the material comes in contact with the rotating cutters, where impact takes place and the material is fractured into smaller particles. The product is conveyed upwards by the air stream through a shroud and baffle assembly that changes the direction of the product/air mixture while directing it to the classification zone. the particles are presented to the rotating classifier wheel, where based upon size and density, the particles either pass through the classifier or oversize particles are rejected and flow back to the grinding zone for additional size reduction. The processed product/air mixture then exits through the mill outlet.
Features and Benefits
Capable of fine grinding to 350mesh.
Designed for soft to medium-hard materials with a Moh's hardness of 3.5 or less.
Particle size can be adjusted by the speed of the classifier or feed rate.
The high volume of airflow is suitable for thermally sensitive materials.
Compact design & dust-free operation.
Quick-release design for quickly cleaning and maintenance.
Low-Temperature control milling applies to heat-sensitive materials.
Typical Application
Brittle, crystalline, fibrous, elastic, and other soft to medium-hard materials with a Moh's hardness of 3.5 or less resilient materials,
xanthan gum, ultra-fine flour, tea Leaves, xylitol, herbs and roots, gum Arabic, gelatin, food Ingredients, dextrose, starch, coffee beans, cocoa shells, cereals, collagen, bakery products
