Product Description
The pressure nozzle spray dryer is suitable for processing solutions or slurry-like materials. Pressure atomization is to use of a high-pressure pump to pressurize the material liquid into the atomizer to spray the material liquid into a mist. The product of a pressure spray dryer is in the form of particles, and the average particle size can reach about 150~200um. The product has good fluidity, wettability, and other properties.
Working Principle
The pressure nozzles convert the pressure energy supplied by the high-pressure pump into kinetic energy in the form of a thin film, the stability of which is determined by the properties of the liquid such as viscosity, surface tension, density and quantity per unit of time, and by the medium into which the liquid is sprayed.
Features and Benefits
Due to the large surface area of the droplets, the drying time is usually 20-30s.
Suitable for heat-sensitive materials, such as food, medicine, biological products, etc.
Easy to change the particle size distribution, moisture content, biological activity, etc.
Product particle size can reach about 60-150um, with good flowability and wettability.
The particle size of the product can be adjusted by the nozzle size and pressure flowrate
Spray granulation can also be used for cooling granulation, and spray crystallization.
