Product Description

The small-scale Spray dryers are designed especially for factories carrying out test work and small-scale and continuous production. Small quantities of solutions, suspensions, or emulsions can be dried into representative powder samples, and the process data required for scale-up to industrial production can be retrieved.

Process Flow

1. Feeding system

The peristaltic pump pumps the feed liquid to the atomizer through the feeding pipeline.

2. Atomization system

The high-speed rotational force of the rotary atomizer throws out the droplets and flows downward in a spiral. The droplet size can be adjusted by changing the linear velocity of the atomizer.

3. Heating system

The heating system consists of an air filter, a blower, an electric heater, and an inlet and outlet air temperature sensor.

4. Drying chamber

The drying tower is operated with slight negative pressure. The upper part of the drying chamber is a hot air inlet, equipped with a volute and a hot air distributor. The hot air is evenly distributed through the hot air distributor and exchanges heat evenly and effectively with the droplets to dry the droplets into a dry powder product. The temperature sensor is used to record the inlet air temperature and the outlet air temperature.

The atomization radius, residence time, and processing air volume are designed according to the evaporation of water and the properties of the material.

5. Product collection system

The material recovery system consists of a cyclone separator or bag filter. After drying, the dust-carrying gas enters the cyclone separator, the gas-solid separation is carried out by the cyclone, the air is discharged, and the dried materials are collected and separated.

6. Control system

LCD touch screen fully displays and protects the units.
