Product Description
The MSD Multi-stage spray dryer is suitable for materials with high oil and sugar content and strong heat sensitivity. Usually used for agglomeration or granulation of spray drying.
Working Principle
The multi-stage Spray Dryer that combines spray and fluid bed drying technology to a three-stage drying process
Concentrate feed and dry air mixed in the roof of the dryer, the evaporation takes place instantaneously while the droplets pass through the drying chamber. leading them directly to the integrated fluid bed at the bottom of the drying chamber for the second stage of drying. Finally, the powder is led to an exterior Fluid Bed for final drying and cooling. The drying air leaves the chamber at the top allowing for a secondary agglomeration when the fine particles in the drying air collide with the spray droplet. The fines discharged from the cyclone are returned to the drying chamber for a third agglomeration.
Features and Benefits
Produce free-flowing powders in the process of agglomeration, forming or granulating;
The product only contains a Little dust (dust-free particles)
Ideal for thermoplastic and hygroscopic products
Ideal for thermo-sensitive products due to the low temperature of the process.
Saving the construction investment of lower tower height (5-7m lower)
Good product quality in the colour, granularity and solubility of the product
Typical Application
Vitamin, coffee, Non-creamer, dairy, egg powder, maltodextrin, vegetable protein and yeast etc.
